Upcycled Organ Keyboard, 2018
Material: timber boards, sink, tap, wooden keyboard, plumbing fixtures
prep the wall with hot / cold and waste pipe
Cut some boards to create the cupboard. Take into consideration any obstacle ( pipes) depth and height of waste bottle
Draw your shelves on your side board and drill for wood dowels
assemble with wooden dowels and glue. Reinforce with some screw and metal brackets at the back
Cut your wooden keyboard to the right depth
Assemble and adjust to the wall. Cut some opening at the back of the cupboard to access pipes
Create some doors out of plywood
Create a template with exact position of sink and tap. It costed me £ 80 for bespoke toughen glass. The other cheaper option is acrylic sheet but it doesn't look as nice and it will scratch.
Cut your keyboard to allow for sink and tap. Install your toughen glass and sealed everything in position with silicone and superglue.
Enjoy !
